We are redeveloping the former Hummingbird pub, neighbourhood hatch, and adjacent garage site to create 7 new houses for residents on the Housing Needs Register.
The project will include:
demolition of the existing Elm Hatch (the shops have been moved into temporary commercial units on the site during the construction period)
construction of 6 new flats which will include 1 2-bedroom adapted flat with fully accessible bathroom and kitchen and through floor lift
construction of 1 three-bedroom adapted house with fully accessible bathroom and kitchen and a through floor life on the adjacent garage site
The project will benefit from new hard and soft landscaping and associated parking.
The properties will support carbon emission reductions through solar panels and electric vehicle charging points.
